Our head cosmetic chemist, became unsettled in the use of toxic raw materials commonly used in cosmetics, such as Triethylamine, sulphates, salt, parabens, and Formaldehyde releasing preservatives to name a few, often these horrible raw materials are used by companies that say they are natural, but contain cheep toxic materials, he was also concerned at the levels of active materials used, its common practice to have the active material below the fragrance, thus making it there for marketing only, rather then for its functionality, at natural skin solutions we do not believe in this sort of practice, we put the materials in at the levels they were designed to go in at.
The use of synesthetic oils was also a concern, as this also used as a bulking material, so early on it was decided to use natural oils and essential oils, such as Argan, Jojoba and shea butter, the results were amazing, clearer looking skin and a huge reduction in sensitivety.
